Recommendations for class
The first and most important thing is a positive attitude. Our dogs feed off of our energy. When you step into the training facility leave the negative out side. My method of teaching is fun and positive, so this a must for all classes.
High reward treats, this can be something your dog LOVES and may not get all the time. Something’s I have found that work are cheese, lunch meat, natural balance meat rolls, tuna brownies, canned chicken or fish. It should be a product that can be given in very small pieces.
A collar and a 6 foot leash. NO flexi leashes, these are to complicated to work while working with a dog.
A treat bag of some sort, I have some available. These bags work great they leave your hands free and give you easy access to the treats. You can also use a fanny pack or your pocket.
All dogs must have at least started their 1st round of vaccinations. ( DHLPP or DHPP)
