The Shelter Dog program is for newly adopted dogs and owners. We don't always know the history behind shelter dogs, one of the most common reasons for dogs to end up in a shelter system is behavior issues. The sad thing is most of the issues could and can be corrected with the right method, knowledge and time.
We feel it is very important when any one brings a new dog home to start a routine right away. We hear people all the time say " I just wanted her to settle in before taking a class", when in realilty it is best to start right way, this can help avoid issues that may emerge in the future. As much as dogs are our family they are still dogs, they need balance and structure to survive in our human world. This program is four 1 hour lessons designed to teach new owner how and what to do to keep their new family member healthy and happy. And the best part about this program is if the new owner starts a lesson with in 1 month from adoption they will get a discount. And we will donate a portion of our profit to the rescue the dog came from. This is just one way for us to give back and suport our local rescue groups.
